Monday, February 27th, 2012

Now that you know “where” your wedding will be held, now is a good time to…

STEP 5 : RESERVE YOUR RENTAL ITEMS

In a single year, there are only 52 Saturdays and lots of weddings going on.  Therefore, the rental supply in your area is not huge- special items will be limited.

As soon as you pick your venue, find out what items the venue has in house so you can make arragements with a rental companu  for extra items you want.  Example rental items you  may consider – chavari chairs, elegant china or specialty table linens.

Remember, your wedding coordinator is your best resource for finding the right supllier and may be able to get a better deal on the rental price.

Wedding Planning in 12 easy steps: Step 3

After you’ve narrowed your focus, and set your budget, now its time to get some help!

STEP 3: Hire A Reputable Wedding Coordinator

Choosing a wedding coordinator is one of the most important steps when planning a wedding.  It is recommended that the bride hire a coordinator before booking any other service.  Why? Because your planner or coordinator should be able to get better pricing from vendors, and cna provide you with a more detailed and comprehensive list of vendor options.

When searching for a wedding coordinator, ask your friends for referrals and do some research online.

When meeting with potential planners, ask detailed questions to get a sense of how the individual works, to feel out if he or she understands your vision for your event.

When choosing a coordinator, remember that the person you select has to relate to you as a bride and share in your creative ideas to help inspire you and bring them to life.

REMEMBER:    Hire someone with whom you feel comfortable, since you will be working with this person on almost every aspect of your wedding.
